Castaways Moreton Island is the our newly renovated accommodation/restaruant and convenience store, located in the small township of Bulwer.
The Castaways Restaurant and Convenience Store are now open
The Convenience Store is open 7 days a week, from 8:30am to 5:00pm. The Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please note that opening hours may vary in off-peak and peak travel season. Accommodation
Our new look accommodation is a breath of fresh air located at the Northern end of Moreton Island. Just 100 meters walk from the beautiful beach and Bulwer shipwrecks. With a stunning views sitting on the beach, you can watch the sunset over the water something that can rarely be seen anywhere else. There are six units in total all fully self contained sleeping between 4 and 6 people. Ideal for families and friends, each unit contains 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and open plan kitchen and dining area.
Travelling in a large group? Castaways Moreton Island also conveniently provides affordable dormitory-style accommodation with bunk beds, private bathroom, open plan fully self contained kitchen and dining area. Our larger dorm sleeps 39 guests and also has a 2nd bathroom and large lounge area. Our smaller dorm sleeps 25 people.

Please note that children's cots, toasters and heaters are not provided. Trundle beds are available at an additional cost.
Powered by solar energy, guests are asked to be conservative with their energy consumption. Please also note that (bore) water must be boiled prior to drinking - bottled water can be purchased from the Castaways convenience store on site.
